CEO Emmanuel Tuombe founded Engineers Without Borders in Rwanda and in Gabon, implementing small-scale infrastructure projects with long-term benefits to underserved communities.

In Memphis, Emmanuel sees a lack of strong Black-owned companies in the construction industry. While the population of Memphis is 65% Black, astoundingly only 1% of the Black population benefits from business revenue. ABES hopes to change these statistics by offering training to minority companies to obtain contractor licenses and increase their ownership in the construction business.
